Hello there! I'm William, a software developer and a CS student.
I am entering my final year of Computing Science at the University of Alberta.
From an early age, I have always been fascinated with technology and its advancements,
which has driven my optimistic view of the future of tech and my desire to be a part of it.
Although I initially pursued engineering, I realized it wasn't the right fit for me.
As cliche as it sounds, I believe that "People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be"
and that nothing great comes easily in life.
Embracing this mindset in my studies led me to my decision of studying computer science.
At first, I was apprehensive about switching due to my previous experience in my engineering programming class.
Despite my prior struggles in programming, I found success in learning Python, as it is beginner-friendly and versatile.
Not long after, I started enjoying programming since I finally grasped the logical flow of writing programs.
However, programming by no means is straightforward.
Despite the endless hours of logical thinking, debugging and frustrations, I still find immense satisfaction in it.
Apart from programming, I enjoy my daily cups of coffee, music, and sports. I am an avid fan of football, basketball, and hockey.
I occasionally play basketball and spikeball with my buddies and have recently taken up running.
These are some of projects that I have completed.

Hope you enjoy my work ☺
